Poppies, lotuses, roses, peonies… From the very beginning, flowers have filled the heart of KENZO and its founder with their beauty and scents. They symbolise our values: a love of nature, openness, youthfulness, joy and optimism. KENZO is committed to protecting and planting them!

KENZO is also committed to responsible supply chains, more natural formulas, less fossil-based virgin plastic, more recycled or bio-based materials and lighter packaging.

OUR RESOLUTION

  • -30% fossil-based virgin plastic on average in Kenzo products by 2026

  • 100% of our glass bottles and jars will include recycled materials by 2026

  • 90% minimum of natural ingredients in our skincare products* since 2021 and in new fragrances launched from 2024

  • 100% iconic ingredients are evaluated by the UEBT**: rose, orange blossom, sandalwood, lotus, and patchouli by 2023

  • 100% of energy from renewable sources in our sites by 2023

  • - 50% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2026

  • 100% reusable or recyclable gifts by 2023

  • 100,000 flowering trees planted by KENZO by 2023

  • 2,000 young people sensitized to the importance of biodiversity and the local and seasonal flowers through the scholarship program of the Bamboo U with Orin Hardy in Bali and the Flower School of Masami Charlotte Lavault by 2026

    Orin Hardy has been living in Bali since he was a kid and has founded Bamboo U. His project aims to share unique design and construction knowledge -starring bamboo- and to explore alternative ways of building to live in harmony with nature.

    CHARLOTTE MASAMI LAVAULT

    Masami Charlotte Lavault is the face of FLOWER BY KENZO: nicknamed the "Flower Activist", Masami is the campaigning and inspiring embodiment of the Flower woman. This Franco-Japanese flower grower has created Plein Air Paris, the first flower farm in Paris, then the first urban flower farm in France. KENZO supports her commitment to local flower growing with respect for the seasons and nature's rhythms.

    Since 2021, KENZO Parfums is a member of the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UEBT). It evaluates the impact of a supply chain on human beings and biodiversity according to 153 indicators.
    We are proud to announce that KENZOKI Sacred Lotus Flower chain is now certified Ethically Sourced by the UEBT, attesting that we meet their demanding specifications and testifying we contribute working towards a positive impact on biodiversity and the local population.
